Travels and other things

One night we reserved a cart racing track for 6 of us. 5 of us are going to the same course and the 6th is here for another shorter course. 3 of us are from Nigeria and the other 3 are from Norwich England. Well, they are younger, had more carting experience and home field advantage even though we are in Scotland, they won the top 3 places. Chris on the left, Matt, center and Shaun on the right. The car would go faster than I wanted to go most of the time. The cars have a 200 cc Honda engine.

This is the classroom for the 7 of us and our view. I try not to stare outside too much during tests.

The weather actually cleared up a little when I got to scotlands north coast, cool and windy though. This little town is called Lossiemouth.

I'm here for another 4 weeks taking a helicopter maintenance course at the company training facility in Aberdeen. Its taking the place of my usual work schedule in Nigeria, so I'll fly home after this.

I did a little drive-about today north of Aberdeen. Its been cool, cloudy and sometimes rainy, but today wasn't too bad. This is in the town of Elgin and for almost 700 years this has been standing.

I didn't have any big problems with diving on the left, the right-hand drive, shifting with the left hand, hitting the curbs with my left tires alot, but didn't take out a single mirror.
